Machined from solid brass, this magwell funnels magazines into the grip with a generous flared opening while adding meaningful mass below the trigger guard — lowering your centre of gravity for reduced muzzle flip and faster follow-up shots.

What's the difference between the Brass and Aluminium magwell?

Weight. The Aluminium Magwell gives you the reload funnel without adding significant mass. The Brass Magwell adds both the funnel and meaningful weight for better recoil management. Choose brass if you want the weight advantage; aluminium if you want to keep the pistol lighter.

Can I use the brass magwell in IPSC Production?

No. IPSC Production and Production Optics ban add-on magwells (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4 and D4a, rule 18.1). Check your division rules before match day.

Will Boss Components base pads work with this magwell?

Yes. Our CZ Shadow 2 Magwell-Ready base pads are specifically designed to feed through Boss magwells.

Hey guys, the product is solid as which I loved, the only problem is that I would suggest you to change the design to accommodate the baseplates for mags that you sell. I had to do some mods on the magwell to allow it to work. The mags won’t go all the way in. Other than that is good. Cheers Angelo
