What's the difference between the Brass and Aluminium magwell?

Weight. The Aluminium Magwell gives you the reload funnel without adding significant mass. The Brass Magwell adds both the funnel and meaningful weight for better recoil management. Choose brass if you want the weight advantage; aluminium if you want to keep the pistol lighter.

Is the brass magwell legal for IPSC Production?

No. Magwells that extend beyond the original grip profile are not permitted in the IPSC Production division. This magwell is designed for Standard, Open, and equivalent divisions.

Will Boss Components base pads work with this magwell?

Yes. Our CZ Shadow 2 Magwell-Ready base pads are specifically designed to feed through Boss magwells.

Hey guys, the product is solid as which I loved, the only problem is that I would suggest you to change the design to accommodate the baseplates for mags that you sell. I had to do some mods on the magwell to allow it to work. The mags won’t go all the way in. Other than that is good. Cheers Angelo
