Choosing a grip material

Carbide gives the most aggressive texture we offer — tungsten carbide bonded to the outer surface for a hold that does not shift in wet or sweaty hands. G10 is a textured composite that balances bite and comfort at low weight. Brass trades texture for weight: solid brass panels add mass low in the frame to help flatten muzzle movement between shots.

Palm swell or flat?

Palm swell panels are contoured to fill the hand, which gives a more locked-in, repeatable index. Flat panels keep traditional slim geometry — usually preferred by shooters with smaller hands, or anyone who wants a more direct feel of the frame.

Full-length or magwell cut?

This is the one that catches people out. Full-length grips run the full height of the frame and will not clear a magwell. Magwell-cut panels — also listed as magwell-ready or short — are shortened so a magwell can be fitted underneath. If you run a magwell, or plan to, you need the magwell-cut version.

Magwells are legal in IPSC Standard and Open, and in USPSA Limited, Limited Optics, Carry Optics and Open — they are not permitted in IPSC Production or USPSA Production.

What fits

• CZ Shadow 2 — including Shadow 2 Orange and Shadow 2 Target. Brass, carbide and G10, in full-length and magwell-cut.
• CZ 75 SP-01 — palm swell and flat.
• Tanfoglio Stock 2 and Stock 3 — carbide, palm swell and flat.

Fitting your grips

Grip panels are a direct replacement for the factory panels on the platforms listed above — remove the factory screws and panels, fit the new panels, refit the screws. No gunsmithing required. Check the individual product page for whether grip screws are included.
