Will the CZ Shadow 2 slide stop fit the original CZ Shadow 1?
No. This slide stop is specifically designed for the CZ Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Orange. The Shadow 1 uses a different slide stop profile.
Is the CZ Shadow 2 slide stop legal for IPSC Production division?
No. Aftermarket slide stops are not on the IPSC Production list of allowed aftermarket parts, and extended slide lock levers are banned (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4, rules 18.1 and 19). Check your division rules before match day.
Do I need to detail strip the CZ Shadow 2 to install the slide stop?
No. A basic field strip is sufficient. Remove the slide, swap the slide stop, and reassemble.
What is the difference between this and the factory CZ Shadow 2 slide stop?
