IPSC Production and Production Optics only allow the aftermarket parts listed in rule 19 (magazines, sights, grip panels, springs, trigger assemblies and hammers), so this part is not for those divisions (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4 and D4a, rule 19). Check your division rules before match day.

No. This slide stop is specifically designed for the CZ Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Orange. The Shadow 1 uses a different slide stop profile.
Is the CZ Shadow 2 slide stop legal for IPSC Production division?
No. Aftermarket slide stops are not on the IPSC Production list of allowed aftermarket parts, and extended slide lock levers are banned (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4, rules 18.1 and 19). This slide stop is designed for IPSC Standard and Open. Check your division rules before match day.
Do I need to detail strip the CZ Shadow 2 to install the slide stop?
No. A basic field strip is sufficient. Remove the slide, swap the slide stop, and reassemble.
