The extended version has additional reach — roughly 2–3mm more than the standard replacement. Best for shooters with smaller hands or anyone who currently shifts their grip to hit the mag release.
Will the extended profile cause accidental magazine drops?
Unlikely with a proper grip. The extension is designed to bring the button into natural thumb reach, not to protrude excessively.
Is stainless steel heavier than the factory aluminium button?
