Compatibility
This is the Standard Division length base pad — for Open Division extended base pads, see the 2011 Brass Open Magazine Base Pad.
Does NOT fit: Single-stack 1911 magazines, SVI magazines, or MBX magazines — these use different base pad dimensions.
Division notes
- In Standard, the pistol with the magazine in must fit the IPSC box (225 x 150 x 45 mm, IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D2, rule 15). Check your division rules before match day.

- 1x Brass magazine base pad (retention plate not included — uses existing magazine retention plate)
Installation
- Remove the magazine from the pistol and ensure it is empty
- Depress the retention plate through the witness hole in the magazine tube
- Slide the factory base pad off the magazine body
- Note the spring and follower orientation before removal
- Slide the brass base pad onto the magazine tube
- Ensure the retention plate clicks securely into place
- Function test with snap caps before competition use
