Division notes

IPSC Production and Production Optics ban add-on magwells (rule 18.1) and only allow bumper pads that add or remove negligible weight (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4 and D4a, rule 18.2), so this brass pad is not designed for those divisions. Check your division rules before match day.

Remove the existing basepad from your Mec-Gar magazine tube. Slide the brass basepad onto the tube until it clicks into place. No tools needed. It swaps with the factory base pad.

Will this fit factory CZ magazines?

No. This basepad is designed exclusively for Mec-Gar CZ Shadow 2 magazine tubes. It will not fit factory CZ magazines.

Why choose brass over aluminium?

Brass is significantly heavier than aluminium. The extra weight helps magazines drop free faster under gravity, which shaves time off reloads in competition. If you prefer a lighter setup, choose the aluminium version instead.

Does this work with the Boss magwell?
