Division notes

Designed for IPSC Standard and Open. IPSC Production and Production Optics only allow bumper pads that add or remove negligible weight, with no more than 15 rounds at the start signal (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4 and D4a, rule 18.2). Weigh this pad against your factory pad before you use it in those divisions. In Standard, the pistol with the magazine in must fit the IPSC box (225 x 150 x 45 mm). Check your division rules before match day.

Will this base pad fit factory CZ magazines?

No. This base pad is designed exclusively for Mec-Gar aftermarket magazines. For factory CZ Shadow 2 magazines, use our Plus Zero Extended Base Pad.

Will this work with Boss Components magwells?

Yes. These base pads are designed to feed through Boss Components magwells on both the SP-01 and Shadow 2.

Does this add magazine capacity?

No. This is a replacement base pad that maintains the original magazine capacity.

Is this base pad legal for IPSC Production division?

Only if it adds or removes negligible weight. Great magazine base plates, being just inside the production division weight rules. The magazines will hit the ground convincingly even if ones reloading angle is not textbook. I like the shiny ones as they are easy to see when it is time to pick them up.

Great basepads! They have a really nice shape and good texture. The hole is slightly too big for the newer CZ75 10 round mags as they changed the design of the mag base lock but they are still usable although they have a little wiggle. Overall, a great product.
