CZ Shadow 2 | Dovetail Red Dot Optic Mount - Boss Components

Easily add a variety of red dot sights to the CZ Shadow 2 pistol or clone, such as the C- More RTS 2, Vortex Venom, Trijicon SRO "specialized reflex optic." and other conventional red dot sights that share the same mounting footprint.

The multi-optic red dot mount is installed using the existing rear sight dovetail on the CZ pistol removing the need for milling or modifying the original slide.

Please note this mount is incompatible with the optic-ready slide.

Precision machined from mild steel with a PVD protective finish
Serrations on both sides combined with rounded edges enhance grip and comfort when reloading
Notched mark at the back of the mount to assist with centring the scope mount during installation
When the red dot is mounted, the scope will be pitched downward
x8 Locator pins supplied
x2 Grub Screws supplied
x2 M3-0.5 X12 Hex screws & washers are included for the installation of the Red Dot to the plate. Please note: (These screws are only needed for those dots that sit over the M3 tapped holes, and may need shortening by cutting/filing for a perfect fitting. Firstly place the Red dot on the plate and thread the screws all the way through. Then flip over to see how much is sticking out. If any thread is sticking out mark the over-length and cut it off as this needs to be ideally flush. Using a Dremel/File is perfect for accomplishing this.)

Boss Components recommends 15-inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue Loctite on all grub & mounting screws.

Use caution when installing screws, as over-tightening can damage the mount.

Please note mounting screws are not included, use the screws supplied with the red dot, and the rear sight pusher tool is recommended for installation. The use of a certified gunsmith is always advised.

Have only just fit the Mount to the gun, seems ok so far. Had allot of trouble with the grub screws that go through the Mount to retain it to the pistol very very tight to put in, the bracket really needs a tap put through it and bigger grub screws like the standard rear sight ones, there almost double the diameter. But on now and the optic went on a breeze cheers Glenn

Never had any problems ordering from Boss components. The Dovetail optic mount was an inexpensive option to experience a red-dot sight without the milling of the slide. After months of use, i have decided to mill the factory slide. Definitely recommend if unsure about committing to a slide cut.

Hi team I modified your mount to suit a 75 SP01 so i had to file back the down about 1mm to clear the slide because they havent been cut back on the shadow 1 like on the 2 add work just like its meant too

Love the Red dot mount. I looked far and wide for a steel mount. Everyone sells an aluminum mount; I am not a fan of thin aluminum mount. Fear of threads pulling through and the mount coming off during rapid competitive fire.

Fits SP01 Shadow! Purchased this product to fit Vortex Venom to my CZ SP01 Shadow - although advertised for the Shadow 2 - works perfectly. Placed adapter plate in clip seal bag and in freezer over night, fitted on to pistol without too much issue. Tight fit, good price, great product.

Installation was easy and straight forward. The video was helpful for this effort. I have a Vortex Venom on a SS P229 and it mounts on a P-rail. Therefore it sits a bit higher than the Venom / Boss Components on the CZ Shadow. The angle down allows a faster acquisition of the red dot and target alignment, which is appreciated. I will purchase another this week and hope to get to the range soon.
