CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminium, this magwell guides magazines into the grip quickly and consistently — turning sloppy reloads into clean insertions every time. The lightweight option for competitors who want faster reloads without changing their pistol's balance.

Division notes

Designed for IPSC Standard and Open. IPSC Production and Production Optics ban add-on magwells (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4 and D4a, rule 18.1). In IPSC Standard, the pistol with the magwell fitted must fit the IPSC box (225 x 150 x 45 mm). Also popular with USPSA Limited and Open shooters. Check your division rules before match day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose the Aluminium or Brass magwell?

If you want the reload funnel without adding weight, choose aluminium. If you want both the funnel and extra mass for recoil management, choose the Brass Magwell. Many Standard shooters pick aluminium to keep the pistol light.

Can I use the aluminium magwell in IPSC Production?

No. IPSC Production and Production Optics ban add-on magwells (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4 and D4a, rule 18.1). In IPSC, this is designed for Standard and Open. Check your division rules before match day.

Will Boss Components base pads work with this magwell?

The magwell-compatible ones do. Use the CZ Shadow 2 Magazine Base Pad — Boss Magwell Compatible or the Mec-Gar magwell-compatible base pads. The Plus Zero Extended Base Pad is designed for full-size (non-magwell) grip frames and will not feed through.
