US Buyers Guide — Shipping, Duties & What You'll Actually Pay
Yes, we ship to the USA — and duties are already paid
Boss Components ships worldwide from Adelaide, Australia. Over half our customers are US competitive shooters (USPSA, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun). Here are the three questions American buyers ask us most — answered straight.
1. How long does shipping take?
Orders dispatch from our Adelaide workshop within 1–2 business days. Typical delivery to the US is 6–10 business days, fully tracked door-to-door. You get the tracking number the moment it ships.
2. Will I get hit with import duties or customs fees?
No. We ship DDP — Delivered Duty Paid. Since the US suspended the de minimis exemption, most international orders now attract customs charges on arrival. Not ours: we prepay US import duties and fees before your parcel ever leaves Australia.
- The price at checkout is the final price — zero surprise charges at your door
- No customs paperwork, no carrier ransom notes, no waiting at the depot
- If you're ever charged anything extra at delivery, email sales@bosscomponents.com.au and we'll refund it
3. Why buy from Australia at all?
- We make what US brands don't. Brass magwells, base pads, thumb rests and tuning parts designed specifically for IPSC/USPSA competition — in stock, not backordered.
- Duties-paid shipping that most overseas stores won't offer since the de minimis change.
- Run at world level. Our gear runs on guns at IPSC World Shoots and USPSA Nationals.
