Division notes

  • Designed for IPSC Standard and Open, and made to work with a magwell. IPSC Production and Production Optics ban add-on magwells (rule 18.1) and only allow bumper pads that add or remove negligible weight, with no more than 15 rounds at the start signal (IPSC Handgun Rules, Jan 2026, Appendix D4 and D4a, rule 18.2). In Standard, the pistol with the magazine in must fit the IPSC box (225 x 150 x 45 mm). Check your division rules before match day.

Will this fit factory CZ magazines?

No. This basepad is designed exclusively for Mec-Gar CZ Shadow 2 magazine tubes. It will not fit factory CZ magazines.

What's the difference between the aluminium and brass basepads?

The aluminium version is lighter, which keeps overall pistol weight down. The brass version adds weight to the magazine, which some shooters prefer for faster magazine drops and a lower centre of gravity.

Does this work with the Boss magwell?

Yes. These basepads are specifically designed for full compatibility with Boss Components magwells.
