This was fitted to a second-hand STI Target Master (1911). I have hands smaller than the average bear and it was difficult to reach the standard magazine ejector button without releasing the grip to twist my hand to reach it. Initially, I fitted a Wilson Conbat extended release which comes in 2 parts where the release is fitted to the gun and an extension screws on top. I tested the fitting and one of these keys will appear to not fit on top as well as the WC button but it does sit in a way that will cause the button to sit in the correct place and not twist to a position where you can't reach it. If I were to do the conversion again, I'd suggest using the Wilson Combat base or similar that has the extended release ability so that it will clear your grip - especially if you prefer to not grind or cut your grip to make it fit. It works exceptionally well now considering the size of my hands. OK... not really the size of my hands... more the length of my fingers.... Short stumpy ones that get me called "The Lesbian's Friend" :D
