Division Compliance
This combo is legal for IPSC Production, Standard, and Open divisions as well as USPSA Production, Limited, and Open divisions. Both aftermarket grips and magwells are permitted modifications in all major competition divisions. The lightweight aluminium construction keeps your CZ Shadow 2 well within IPSC Production's 1,430g weight limit.

Is this IPSC Production legal?
Yes. Both the aluminium magwell and aftermarket grips are permitted in IPSC Production Division. The lightweight construction keeps the pistol well within weight limits.
Do I need special magazine base pads?
Yes. Boss magwells require Boss-compatible base pads for reliable insertion. Standard factory base pads may not feed smoothly through the magwell funnel.
What's the difference between G10 and Carbide grips?
G10 is a fibreglass-laminate composite — lightweight, extremely durable, with a refined texture. Carbide/plastic grips offer more aggressive texture at a lower price. Both perform well in competition.
Should I choose Palm Swell or Flat?
