The EXTENDED CZ SHADOW 2/SP01 MEC-GAR MAGAZINE BASE PAD is just that, an extended base pad that once fitted within Australia/California/Canada will only take 10 rounds due to crimped magazine laws, but, within countries overseas like USA/Europe have hi-cap magazines, this will add additional Plus2 rounds of 9mm to your CZ 75 or CZ Shadow 2 Mec-Gar magazine.
The extra length gives you more to grip on and provides better support when shooting faster. This base pad is made from anodized aluminium, and we also offer a plated protective surface. The hollowed profile, knurled top, and front surfaces enhance grip and control. The serrations down each side of the base pad provide a better grip when handling the magazine.

Those extra 2 rounds for overseas shooters give you more firepower than those non-crimped magazines, and the extended base pad provides better support when shooting faster.
This base pad is compatible with all CZ 75/SP01 17rnd capacity magazines. The CZ Shadow 2 and Mec-Gar magazines are also compatible with this base pad. For overseas customers, this base pad is not compatible with SP-01 Shadow original CZ magazines with 18rnd capacity but will fit SP-01 Mec-Gar 17rnd magazines.
This base pad is also compatible with the CZ Shadow 2 magazine retention clips supplied with the original plus two capacity base pads. If you need to purchase additional clips, please see the link below. Australia customers, please note that this base pad does not add additional rounds.
